I can't access Windows 7 laptop on a remote connection using Windows XP destop?
I can access a remote connection of 7 to XP but somehow I can't do the opposite. The versions of my Windows are 7 Home Basic and the other is XP SP3 Professional. I already check the XP remote options, Allow users to connect remotely to this computer and the Allow Remote Assistance invitations to be sent from this computer and also Allow this computer to be controlled remotely. The only options of remote settings on my Windows 7 Home is the Allow remote assistance connection to this computer and nothing else. I also have already update the Remote Desktop Connection of XP to the version 7's Remote Destop. So is there any possibility to remote desktop 7 through XP?

Windows 7 Home editons do not support incoming RDP. You can connect to computers running Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate, or Windows 7 Enterprise. See the following FAQ page: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Remote-Desktop-Connection-frequently-asked-questions
