I am trying to delete an unwanted file
I downloaded a file called '#maleslant', which I no longer want and tried to delete it. I get a message saying that access is denied. I have scanned the file with AVIRA anti- virus and it reports that the file is clean. So why can't I delete it?1 person needs an answerI do too

So why can't I delete it?Either you do not have sufficient permissions to delete the file or the file is locked by another process. To verify the permissions right click on the file and select "Properties" and then click on the Security tab and verify your permissions. If you have sufficient permissions then another process has a handle on the file which prevents you from deleting it. Try deleting it in Safe Mode or use a utility which will show you which process has a handle on the file, Sysinternals' Handle or Process Explorer utilities will help you find file handles.John
