I am the administrator user account holder & I am locked out
I am running Windows 7. When I try to enter my password in order to enter my user profile I get an error message saying the user account is not allowed. I can access the PC using my wifes user account but this will not let me access my files/folders/etc. I have tried system recovery but because I am the PC administrator it requires my password which is now blocked/locked, it seems to briefly search for credential tiles but then the password entry box disappears and I'm back to square one. Whatever I try I always come up against the user account control password box. I am not well versed in the operating system technology etc so am finding it difficult to get around the problem as all of the solutions seem to be locked behind my password. Thanks for your help.

Try to guess how you misspelled it. Maybe one of your keys was stuck or something. Try different combinations with adjacent keys. If this doesn't work, then you need a password cracker. I like SmartKey Windows password Recovery Last time when i suffer from the similar problem, I search for "Windows Password Recovery solution" from google and choose recoverlostpassword.com site and select SmartKey Windows password Recovery 6.0 to solve my problem, it work like a charm.

Hi, If you have the administrator password, try to boot into Safe Mode to check if this issue persists, if this failed as well, please provide the detailed exact error message for analyzing.
