I Re-installed Windows 7 from Windows 8 Now Unable to Find Anything...HELP!

Now that I have re-installed Windows 7 I cannot locate my Windows 8 desktop files, All Microsoft products including Word, Adobe etc...everything including icons did not reappear when I finished re-installing Windows 7! I see in my computer I now have a "System Reserve E:" I'm not sure if this is where the Windows 8 "stuff" has been stored but I have no clue on how to open and possibly retrieve and add to Windows 7...Can someone step by step assist?

HI Mr. Kool 

If you format the c drive means you can't get your old file. both are different operating system so you can't get your win8 desktop items.

I have no clue if I "format the c drive"...if I show on my computer the "System Reserve E:" should the contain all my previous info on Windows 8?
