I upgraded my PC the other day. Everything was working fine and i was downloading some files (that were from a trusted website) about 2 hours later i couldnt download anything, i thought it was just internet explorer blocking the files so i decided to download firefox and that didnt work either. I've tried downgrading IE9 to IE8. ive tried using IE with no add-ons. ive tried turning off the firewall. enable is on in the download settings. you name it, ive tried it. does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Try: Tools menu/Internet options. In the Browsing history section click Delete..., check everything and click Delete;Tools menu/Internet options. Advanced tab/Click Restore advanced settings;Tools menu/Internet options. Advanced tab/Click Reset, check Delete personal settings and click Reset.
