IT CREATED TWO NEW PROFILES WITH THE SAME NAME THAT SHOW DIFFERENT NAMES WHEN I OPEN THEM WITH THE NEW PROFILE FOLDER.WANT TO DELETE THE NEW AND GET BAC THE OLD!__
Ive gone over and over the security permissions. I just want my old folders to open as my user account like before. But now they are just folders and these new duplicate named user accounts are what I'm left with. Totolly empty like starting from scratch. Tried system restore twice, it failed. When I click properties under disk management/user accounts/users I get an error saying it cant read it because the server service has not been started. When I do the same only ending with groups, it shows the correct profiles.What the ____?????1 person needs an answerI do too

Your post is rather difficult to follow. I'm not sure what you did but I think what you are saying is that you have messed up user accounts. If this is correct, go to Control Panel>User Accounts and create a new user account for yourself named something at least slightly different than before. Log into it. Then navigate to the other user accounts and copy any data you need from there to the new user account. Once you have everything, use the User Accounts applet to delete the unwanted user accounts. If they don't show up in the User Accounts applet, you can delete them from C:\Documents and Settings. If this doesn't fit your situation, please clarify.
