ISA Server stop responding & resolving users requests - Please help

Hi,

ISA server stops responding the user requests and its required to reboot the ISA server.

I have two ISA 2006 servers for internet gateway in my domain network. Users are using internet via SecureNAT client. Every morning one of my isa server ISA-One stops internet connectivity, stops resolving users internet requests and users behind this gateway unable to browse internet. Also no PING to this isa server but remote desktop works because I already keep it logged in remotely when i come in office. Whereas second isa server works fine. Only that one isa stops working every day. Solution to this problem I use is to restart ISA server once or twice. It started happening two weeks ago and i am really frustrated. I also tried scanning it with antivirus and malwarebytes but no help. I also reinstalled this server but same problem.:(

Don't know it is malware infection which is causing it or something else.

Please let me know if you need any other info, looking forward to hear from you experts.

Thanks

What kind of 3rd party products are on there? Antivirus? Completely uninstall it (disabling is not enough) and then see if you have the problem. A/V is notorious for causing problem and memory leaks on ISA and/or TMG.

Also, we need to determine if this is a Windows performance issue or it is being caused by ISA. Are any of the ISA Services crashing? If you weren't already on an RDP connection would you be able to connect? Do you have any scheduled scans or backups of the ISA Servers at that time?

Hi Keith, thank you for reply. Actually i solved it by removing malware infection from few of my workstations. They were infected with Conflicker/kido.!!
