ISA Server refused my access to an host SMTP port

Hi,

I am using ISA Server 2006 in my gateway

some times ISA server refused my Access to just an hosted site on port 25

 many times it happen in day, some times not refused but some times refused.

what should I do? this refused domain is my SMTP server and it is important for me, and I don't know why ISA blocking my connections some times.

Hi

According to your description ,I suggest that you can try to do the action below:

 1.Collect live log to check why the ISA block your traffic at that moment

You can enable log and  export it to a text file because it is intermittent problem. Please refer to the link below to enable TMG log function.

2. Please check your server if has another program using port 25 at that moment.

It is difficult to monitor ports all the time . I suggest you to use remote management when the issue happens.

Please  type command netstat -n in command window to check if there is another application using port 25.

3. Please check  if you configured Schedule rule

Hi, Thanks for your replay

I will check step one but you should know I am not using port 25 in my ISA Sever, just ISA blocking my users access to example.com domain, and then my users can't send and receive emails from this site, this blocking happens 3-4 times in day.
