IPv6 with Teredo in Win 7
Hello, I would like to set up IPv6 on my Windows 7 (Pro.) machine. Of course, my internet provider do not provide IPv6 adress, therefore I choosed to enable IPv6 using Teredo. Therefore in order to do so, I tryed upping the Teredo Pseudo-Interface of my computer using the following command : netsh interface ipv6 teredo set client Unfortunately, the interface stays disable even after waiting a few minutes. (I used the command "netsh interface ipv6 show teredo" to check it.) In addition, I noticed that there is a small yellow triangle in front of the "Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface" in the list of all network cards. In the property of the "Teredo Tunneling Pseudo-Interface" it says "Peripherics can not start. (Code 10)" (<- this is a translation of the actual error). If you have any idea of what I am doing wrong, ... Thanks in advance ! PA

Hi, First, I would like to advise that you can not use the Teredo alone, because this technology is used for internal communication between Ipv4 and Ipv6 client and need to build Teredo server and Teredo relays. For details information, please refer to the following link. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb457011.aspx The issue of code 10 is most likely a network adapter driver issue, so please uninstall the network adapter driver then reinstall it to have a test. Also, you may refer to the following link. http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7network/thread/754c8f29-3a87-4e77-babd-a69c8910e17ePlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
