IPv6 Issue: ISATAP, Teredo and 6to4 Adapters
I've been researching this for several days and I havent found anything, but here is my issue.I'm trying to configure my Vista machine to use IPv6 by tunneling through IPv4. However, while I can clearly see that IPv6 is installed, Teredo, ISATAP and the 6to4 adapters apparently are not. I installed them through the device manager and they do not show up when I use IPCONFIG but they are definitely installed. I can't find a single place that provides the drivers straight up because they all say that they should be in the OS. I went into NETSH and enabled all three, but none of them show up at all. Any help with this would be appriciated.

Hi, Thank you for posting. To show the devices, Teredo, ISATAP and the 6to4 adapters in Device Manager, please open Device Manager, and then click on the view tab and select the option Show hidden devices. Then, please check if these devices appear under the Network adapters. For more information, please also refer to the following: View Details and Status for a Device(Note: please note the section of View hidden devices) http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc733151.aspx View Devices That Are Not Currently Present http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc772109.aspx If they are still not displayed, please try the method in the following document to enable all IPv6 components: How to disable certain Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6) components in Windows Vista http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929852/en-us Hope this helps. Nothing is working. My machine is a DV6700 HP with an nForce 630m Ethernet adapter. I install the devices in the device manager and they show up with error code 10. I can't find any place online with the device drivers. I use Vista Home premium with an AMD chipset. When I type IPCONFIG, no tunneling devices show up, which leads me to believe they arent installed properly. Windows supposedly has the drivers but it will not install the adapters correctly. There must be some way to make this work.

Hi, Thank you for your update. At this time, I would like to share the following Knowledge Base with you: On a Windows Vista-based computer or on a Windows Server 2008-based computer, the Microsoft ISATAP adapter appears with a yellow exclamation mark next to it in Device Manager, and you also receive an error message http://support.microsoft.com/kb/932520 Thanks.
