IPv4 ipsec traffic with IPv6 endpoints
Hi all, is there any way to set up an esp tunnel with IPv4 traffic and use IPv6 endpoints? My problem is that I need access to a network without public IPv4 address, but with IPv6 support. Thanks for any suggestion

Hi, Yes, it is possible. We can utilize IPv6 transition technology: Teredo. Hi, I thought that Teredo was for situations where you had ipv4 access only and you want to use ipv6. My situation that I have no ipv4 access on both sides (local networks only like 192.168.0.0/24), but both networks has global ipv6 prefixes. Unfortunatelly not all devices are ipv6 capable. So I want to send IPv4 packets in IPv6 esp tunnel, my router seems to be capable of doing this. But Vista is forcing me to specify IPv4 endpoint, which I do not have because the router is inaccessible by IPv4.
