IPv4 ip address properties defaults to 0.0.0.0
Have reentered the static ip address, subnet and gateway several times and clicked ok to close properties. upon hitting the internet - I recheck the settings which changes to 0.0.0.0. when clicking the advanced option, it adds a new line above the correct ip address with the value of 0.0.0.0. I delete this entry and redo the series of events which end up being a complete circle with 0.0.0.0 showing up as the ip address. Everything else is as originally inputted. Could it be something that gpedit.msc can handle? and if so, where would i find it? The computer is not readily available, but will check the Event Viewer upon next visit.
