IP address conflict problem with my laptop
When I go to use my laptop I get the following message as windows is loading... 'There is a IP address conflict with another system on the network' I have XP on that computer, Vista on my desktop...I've trying going back to resolve this and nothing works..PLEASE HELP ME!! I'm connected to my wiresless system fine but it just won't connect to the internet. I'm not computer saavy so please answer in simple terms please..lol..I'm going out of town for 3 weeks on Monday and need my laptop!!2 people need an answerI do too

I did all the suggestions and it still doesn't work.It's far better to start your own question rather than piggy-backing on something that's over 6 months old.Please do the following:1. Click Start, then type the three letters cmd into the Run box and click OK.2. Type this command and press Enter: ipconfig /all > "%UserProfile%\Desktop\ip.txt" {Enter}3. Open the file IP.txt on your desktop4. Copy and paste the text into your response.Also, please supply all of the following information:1. Make and model of your router2. How your computer is connected to your router (wire or wireless)3. How many other devices (computers, printers, XBOX, etc.) are connected to your router
