I know FIM can connect to SUN ONE DIRECTORY SERVER.

so can FIM connect to IPLANET DIRECTORY SERVER as well?

if yess....that would be in the same manner??

I suppose IDS is the earlier version for SUN ONE Directory server.

Try to use SUN ONE Dir connector. I hope this will work as well.
