Hi RockeyNumber1,1. Were you able to connect to the Internet with these applications before?2. Are you able to connect to Internet using any other applications other than these applications? You can check if there are any proxy server setting set Internet Explorer by following the below steps.a. Open Internet Explorer, click on Tools, Options.b. In the Internet Options, go to the Connections Tab.c. Click on LAN Settings.d. Uncheck the box under Proxy server and check the box next to ‘Automatically detect settings’.Regards, Manasa P – Microsoft Support.

I was able to connect to the internet on these applications before. I cant remember when this started. Can you give me an example of other applications you want me to try? And i tried your solution but it revealed another problem with my laptop that i forgot i had never resolved. When I go to the Connections Tab in Internet Options of Internet Explorer, the lower part of that box is greyed out and it says those settings can only be changed by the administrator. But I AM that administrator. There is no other profile on this computer. Do you know how I can change this? Thanks for your help. John Michael
