Sorry to resurrect an old thread but I have the same issue with IM-an-Expert not finding experts when the
"Only ask me questions related to my profile" option is enabled. My bot is up and running fine using the imexpert service account, indexer is indexing fine and porting the data into the DB fine (also being run by the service account).
The SQL Agent job is running and completing without errors. Currently my testing is just with keywords, no URL's. I have left majority of the settings the default and only made changes to the needed DB connection string settings. I
have run the indexer many times with no errors, I have run the SQL job right after running the indexer each time. Nothing has got this working. I have went over the documentation too many times to count verifying everything over and over, everything
checks out, yet still the bot can't seem to find experts based on the keywords I set in each profile of the 2 users I have setup. I have tried clearing the cache as stated above both VIA the website and the SQL command, both clear the data correctly
but it has no effect on this problem. The service account has the correct DB owner rights on all 3 DB's, the Full-Text search and index are enabled and working fine. The only difference here is this is a Lync 2013 deployment, and I am wondering
if that has something to do with it. Any help is greatly appreciated. I have no idea what to try next and I am at the point of rebuilding the entire deployment but I do not want to do that if it is not needed. I read and follower all instructions
in the guide including the troubleshooting steps for this exact issue but all steps I have tried have no effect. Testing with the q or q2 command yields the following
