IME does not work for programs run as a different user (Windows 7 x64
Running programs under a different user context ("run as") it is not possible to change the input locale for that specific program. This means that as long as such a program has the focus the language bar AKA IME is turned off or at least becomes invisible and inaccessible for both: mouse and keyboard shortcut ALT-Shift. Giving the focus back to a program, which runs under the current user context, IME is turned on again. I tried this under Japanese and under a German language version of Windows 7 (x64, Home & Ultimate) with the same result. Is there any way around this problem or is this just a bug? If the latter is the case, is there any way to report this problem to Microsoft or do I just have to wait until someone at Microsoft stumbles across this problem? Can anyone here confirm this problem?
