IIS is not working in Windows7 64 bit machine
HI, I have Windows 7 OS in Laptop, I installed VS2008 prof with sp1 and also installed IIS using windows features turn on/off, installation was succeed, but when i visit Administrative tools i didn't found IIS there and also verified for InetMgr.exe in System32\Inetsrv folder, there also .exe file was missed. I spent 2hours time to fix this, finally i found "ASP.NET check box is not coming in World Wide Services of IIS in Windows features" I don't know why some of features hidden to me in windows features control pannel. Hi, Thanks for your response, I tried to check IIS Management Console under Web Management Tools but unfortunately I didn't found Internet Information Services under Administrative Tools, even when i tried to go to IIS using short cut Start-->Run-->inetMgr it's not allowing me to open IIS, showing an error like: "Windows can't find 'inetmgr'. make sure the path...." How can i reach to IIS Mangement Console? IIS is enabled under Windows turn on/off feature. Thanks, Srinivas

Hello, As per my knowledge in windows 7, IIS Manager is not available in Windows 7 HOme Basic. For more information, please refer to the following article:Open IIS Manager (IIS 7) You have to upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium. Windows 7 Home Basic doesn't support most of the IIS web server features. Thanks, Srinivasa Rao Dhulipalla
