IEAK 9 fails to install
I'm attempting to install IEAK 9, but I keep getting an error "The Windows Internet Explorer Administration Kit 9 requires that you have Internet Explorer 9 install." The problem is that IE 9 has been installed. All patches have been installed.

You've probably already figured this out, but the UAC is causing the issue. Right-click run as Administrator on the IEAK installer should work.

1. Hope you do not have installed prerelease IE9, see requirements here http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/gg615601.aspx 2. Language version should fit http://technet.microsoft.com/en-US/ie/bb219517.aspx 3. For troubleshooting see http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg598506.aspx 4. Are there any traces in logs that can help to resolve the problem? 5. Perhaps the better place to drop your problem is IE forum here http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/ieitprocurrentver/threads Regards Milos

Actually I hadn't figured it out. Thank you, it works properly now! I had to turn off UAC to get to to work.
