IE9 beta crashes in Windows 7 with blue screen
Hi there, I am running Windows 7 Enterprise 64 bit and installed IE9 beta yesterday. After installation I restarted the computer and started seeing blue screen with crash message. I was able to bring my desktop back after repair option and when I click IE9 icon the IE9 browser pops up and disappears. When I try to uninstall IE9 there is no option to do so. I had a call with Microsoft tech guys for almost 4 hours but unfortunately they are not able to solve the issue. For your reference here is the case id - 1138972819. The biggest problem with IE browser is tightly integrated with OS. Microsoft should learn some lessons from chrome and Firefox. Thanks Raj Naidu

Did you come here to vent or get help? Anyway, how about try not to install beta Versions? how about that solution? That is why is still in beta version. Start up your computer with the bare minimum services or in safe mode, then try IE9 to see if it works. Try also MSconfig for troubleshooting startup. If still having troubles, go and buy this book The Computer Manual

Please copy the dmp files from the folder C:\Windows\Minidump first to your desktop, zip all dmp into 1 zip file and upload the zip file to your Skydrive [1] and post a link here, so that I can look at the dumps. BugCheck C0000218, {fffff8a0005005c0, 0, 0, 0} ***** Debugger could not find nt in module list, module list might be corrupt, error 0x80070057. Probably caused by : Unknown_Image ( ANALYSIS_INCONCLUSIVE ) Configure your Windows to create a kernel dump [1] and upload the zipped dump (C:\Windows\memory.dmp) to your SkyDrive and post a link here when the PC crashes again. Thanks Raj Naidu By right you should be able to uninstall IE9 beta under ctrl panel>programs>programs and features. As i've just uninstall IE9 beta a few days back using the same method. If you can't find it, most likely is remove during the repair stages. Alternatively boot into safe model and see whether IE9 beta are still there
