IE9 Print Preview and Printing not working
IE9, Win7Pro, Roaming profile (folder redirect), GOPs.... I've tried this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/973479 it works for some only while they are logged in but as soon as they log out and back out then they have to rerun the ICALS command. We setup a logon script but this does not work for everyone. (scenario 3, 4 and method 5 have been tried). The other two were rolled out because a different user without the issue can log into the same system and preview/print fine. Most users are not having this issue only about a dozen so far that have spoken up about it and of course they are VIP customers. I've looked at Procmon for a good user and a bad user but did not see anything that was different. Tried process monitor as well. I see that the print process is translating from 32bit to 64bit. When I move the bad user's system from the current polices OU to the Computer OU he is then able to print, local account can print. But as soon as we move his system back into the OU the problem comes back. I believe it is related to Protected Mode because of the test, but why are some people affected and others are not. I copied two of the bad user accounts and the issue went away for those accounts.... Dennis C. Varen Technologies
