Hi, Please help me capture some related screen shots for further analyzing: How to capture a screenshot ========================= 1) Press the Print Screen key (PrtScn) on your keyboard. 2) Click the "Start" menu, type "mspaint" in the Search Bar and Press Enter. 3) In the Paint program, click the "Edit" menu, click "Paste", click the "File" menu, and click "Save". 4) The "Save As" dialogue box will appear. Type a file name in the "File name:" box, for example: "screenshot". 5) Make sure "JPEG (*.JPG;*.JPEG;*.JPE;*.JFIF)" is selected in the "Save as type" box, click “Desktop” on the left pane and then click "Save". 6) Then Upload to SkyDrive. Meanwhile, please try to boot into Safe Mode to check what the result is, if this issue does not occur in Safe Mode, try to perform a Clean Boot to check the result: How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7 Alex ZhaoPlease remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question. Had the same problem, but found the answer at http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/ie/forum/ie9-windows_7/ie9-beta-gives-blank-screen/e0167934-da23-4f1f-ac34-c0b5d0891aa9. Issue is the GPU accerleration issue, so you can turn on Software accerleration or try downloading a new video driver. Robert L.

I don't know if I should bump this or make a new thread. I am having this issue too with IE9. And updating GPU drivers doesn't work. Neither does it work to switch to software rendering. I have tried to uninstall several times, even uninstalling IE8 and upgrade from IE7. I have tried and reset IE but that didn't help either. When logging on I get a white screen on the MSN page. If I open a new tab the icons of paged I have visited shows. If I click on one it load an add cut off by a white screen and it tells me it has encountered a problem and is running in compabilitymode. Can't get anywhere from there as the mouse stops responding to clickables. I used IE9 beta and that worked without issues.

Same issue with a laptop. Software rendering is already on and unchangable (grayed out) because the video card cannot handle GPU rendering, but still only a blank, whie screen when going to any site. Moving the mouse indicates links/photos are present. Mike Pietrorazio

Tried that. No difference. There is something 'weird' going on. When I use a local user account and I fire-up IE9 I get the black screen. When I use a domain user account it did not. What is happening here. Update1: When I login to my system with a local user account (local administrator) and fire up IE9 I get a black page. When I fire up IE9 with my domain account (domain administrator) or right click on IE9 and 'run as Administrator', IE9 act's normal. What's the difference between a local user account being member of the local administrators group and starting a program as administrator... still investigating. Update2: So far, no difference when UAC disabled.

I have the same problem :( Upgraded to IE 9 last week and get black or blank pages on almost every second web page. I was pleased with IE8, can I uninstall IE9 and get rid of the problems? Or do I need to use another web browser? I was going to try http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/904/cpsid_90416.html as suggested earlier, but that page becomes black... I have turned off GPU rendering, but I got the same results. No difference. I was of the impression IE 9 should be better than its predecessors, but it is almost useless :(
