IE9 Beta Available to All
IE9 Beta is (now) available for the general public to download... and run; anyone can check it out, now. Expect the non-beta release to be Q1 2011. Folks may be keen to check it out, in the meantime. However, it is strongly recommended that you do not put it on a production machine. Create a virtual machine for it. It is always a "Best Practice" to put betas in a virtual environment, especially something as fundamental & substancial as a browser. I've been using IE9 Beta on my production desktop, Windows 7 64 bit Ultimate since the first day it became available. No need for virtual testing. It hasn't screwed up anything else - has some bugs, crashes on some sites. Keep another browser available as backup for those sites. theWeissGuy

Fair enough & many times non-virtual may be ok, cause no trouble BUT, since it's so easy & accessible to go virtual these days... generally it's a good, wise & safe place to play, especially w/ beta stuff. Aside from that, what do u think of IE 9, so far?Drew MS Partner / MS Beta Tester / Pres. Computer Issues Pres. Computer Issues
