IE8 setting only take the first time when using IEAK8 Settings package.
Issue: I can use IEAK8 to create an IE8 settings only package for machines that already have IE8. This works great the first time you use it. If you change settings on the machine, reboot, and then later try and redeploy the same settings package to that machine, the settings the user changed after the first deployment are retained. Its like it is a one shot deal.. I also noticed that this same thing happens when you use IEAK8 to create a package that will upgrade from 7 - 8. It works the first go round but if the user uninstalls IE8, changes settings, reboots, and then later gets the same upgrade package, the custom settings in the package will be ignored this time and again the settings the user changed are retained. Is this a bug or designed to be a one shot deal for setting the settings. AD GP is not an option for us. We would like to be able to push the settings on demand like it appears the settings packager is intended for. Thanks in advance for any info you can provide here.
