IE8 on Windows 7 - Kerberos CNAME problem
Hi, I'm having a Kerberos issue in IE8 on Windows 7. It's exactly the same issue as Paul Lynch mention here: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w7itpronetworking/thread/f649df36-a61b-4d23-a0c6-818dc2eff923 "I'm using IE8 on Windows 7. I'm testing a web site which requires Kerberos authentication for delegation. The web site URL is registered as a CNAME in DNS and the SPN for the site reflects this CNAME. " This is my case as well. Is there a solution for this behavor? I have made the registry change as descibed in http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;938305 and http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;911149 but that has no effect. My status: Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise, Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601 Internet Explorer version 8.0.7601.71514 I try to access a webbapplication on my intranet, so no issue with firewall settings. The error I get is: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The page cannot be displayed There is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please try the following: Contact the Web site administrator to let them know that this error has occured for this URL address.
