I recently had to reload my windows XP pro laptop. I have completed all Microsoft updates including ie8, and everything works fine except I no longer get the colors in the security status bar when I visit a safe website (such as paypal.com). I do get the small lock to the right and can use it to pull up the certificate information. I have insured the smartscreen filter is on and reset all ie8 settings to default before restarting the computer.I suspect I’m missing something simple, but have not idea. Help.1 person needs an answerI do too
