Hi Yanson, How did you reinstall IE8?(It seems to be disabled as a feature of Windows only.) First of all, have you ever attempted to right-click the thumbnail of the Developer Tools window and click Maximize? If you cannot see the normal window of the Developer Tools, the feature seems to be blocked by incorrect registry key. Reinstalling may do no upgrade of it. Based on my research, you can solve the problem by following steps: 1. Close all of your IE Windows2. Delete the registry entry: HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\IEDevTools\WindowPos a. Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box. b. Right-click cmd in the Programs list, and then click Run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password or click Continue c. At the command prompt, the following line, and then press ENTER: reg delete "hkcu\software\microsoft\internet explorer\iedevtools" /v windowpos 3. Restart you computer, open IE again.4. Press F12 to open the Developer tools If that doesn’t work, you can repeat Setp1 to Step 2.c, and then input reg delete "hkcu\software\microsoft\internet explorer\iedevtools" /v Pinned reg delete "hkcu\software\microsoft\internet explorer\iedevtools" /v UseDevToolsDebugger then do Step 3, Step 4. Hope it will be helpful! Pls let me know the result.
