IE7 - active x won't work; can't override pop up blocker
I have an XP computer which was running IE6. Several months ago I upgraded IE to 7. Since I upgraded, you cannot get the good pop up windows allowed and you can't get the yellow bar for active x. I have reset the IE, told the security to allow certain sites, changed the registry to allow the secure sites and nothing seems to work. HELP!!! Husband is furious for me for BREAKING this computer! Thanks in advance. 4 people need an answerI do too

I had "VISTA HOME PREMIUM", which sucked,so I had the "GEEKSQUAD",install "Windows 7",and remove the OLD VISTA. NOW whenever I want to "COPY,+ PASTE",or just "CLICK ON" a link in an email,I go to TOOLS,and "Temporarily Allow Pop Ups From This Site", AND it will still make that "GLUB" sound and NOT ALLOW THE LINK TO SHOW ME WHAT I AM TRYING TO GET TO! Any suggestions,or is it that the "GEEKSQUAD" really just SUCKS. Also I have NOT been ABLE to put 2 things on the screen at the same time, like the people on television do with just one click of a button. It seems just about anything that is suppposed to be better about "Windows 7" was better in VISTA HOME PREMIUM,and it didnt cost me OVER $200.00 Dollars to screw up my computer. If I knew the "GEEKSQUAD"was really AS BAD AS THEY ARE,+ FOR OVER @ HUNDRED BUCKS,I WOULD HAVE JUST PUT THE MONEY INTO A NEW COMP. But you know those HIGH PRESSURE Sales people who tell you how much better you will beafter you spend your hard earned money on thier PAY!!!
