I have spend sleepless nights fiddling with my windows mobile 5 device and Windows Vista Business trying to get the mobile device to use the internet off my laptop (vista) using an ad hoc wifi setup, but alas, I always slam against a wall.Does anyone have any idea on how to get this to work?I'm have a broadband connection of which I enabled ICS on. I created an ad hoc network and my device connects nicely with the laptop running vista and I am able to share files between the two. The only thing that is not being shared is the internet connection. Once connected both the laptop and the device are assigned IP addresses in the 169.254.xxx.xxx range.I have tried everything from manual IP configurations to using a proxy but nothing seems to allow the device to share the internet from the laptop.If anyone out there has an idea about this, it would so appreciated if you can share your experience here.Thanks.
