I.E. 8 problems
In **W. 7 U. 32bit, Build 7100 Evaluation copy, I.E. 8 http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-ca/categories currently yields a blank page with Lang. U.S, Sign In heading on top. Because http://neptunecanada.ca/home/ Data Explorer's sea floor camera did not work ( red X where camera view should be) in **this OS, I Reset I.E. 8 and when that did not fix, did an "Update reinstall" of the OS which also did not fix problem. In **this OS, I can see the sea floor web cam and also http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-ca/categories using Google Chrome and can also see them using I.E. in Vista, W. 7 64bit, and Safari in Snow Leopard. So the problem is how to fix I.E.8 in **this OS when Reset and "Update reinstall" will not do it. Would be happy for solution to this problem.

Reset Internet Explorer =============== Note: the following steps will remove all of installed add-ons and reset IE to default settings. We need to reinstall the add-ons after resetting. 1. Click "Start", type "inetcpl.cpl" (without quotation marks) into Search bar and press "Enter" to open the Internet Options window. 2. Switch to the "Advanced" tab. 3. Click "Reset" to reset Internet Explorer settings. 4. Check "Delete personal settings" box and click "Reset" to confirm the operation. 5. Click "Close" when the resetting process is complete. 6. Close the Internet Explorer window and restart IE to check the issue. For more information about how to troubleshoot the Internet Explorer 8 issue, please refer to the following article: You cannot view, access, or load some Web pages when you use Internet Explorer 8 In addition, test the issue in a new user account to see if it helps. Thanks, Oddly reset did it this time, allowing access to this site and for the first time in W. 7 U. 32Bit, access to the sea bed web cam. Note: the Windows 7 "Update reinstall"1) gave a starting warning that iTunes account shoud be deactivated which I did. Having lost iTunes for a year from forgetting to deactivate with various recovery/installs, I consider this a very user friendly message made on behalf of competitor media player. 2) though it did nothing for I.E. 8, it resulted in a reduction of ~ 6 GB on C:drive
