I'm sorry but I don't know what you mean by "the applicability of Windows XP version...". Do you mean what version of XP should you use? Frankly, unless you have very elderly computers, I wouldn't recommend putting XP on them at all. If you want to teach your students to work with computers running Windows, they should be running the current Microsoft Windows operating system - Windows 7.
