I'm getting Error Code 2147500037 when I try to print my homegroup password.
I see other post that are having the same error. Each time I try to print my homegroup password I get the error. Other print jobs seem to function fine. Printed from several programs including Wordpad and open office writer and even the printscreen program. I am trying to print to a HP multifunction machine on a USB port. It is described as a HP PSC 1400. It's not a major concern to me because I simply print the homegroup password with the printscreen program but I would like to find put what the problem is. I have the latest driver and patches for the printer installed. Some additional information: I'm not sure how much of this has to do with the type of printer I am trying to use. When I assign my default printer to the printer on the homegroup, I get the same failure every time. Can someone else do this without having this problem?

Set IE as your default browser and try again.

I have a temporary workaround here: 1. Press PrintScreen (PrScrn) to capture a screenshot. 2. From Start, enter MSPAINT in the Search box, and then click "OK". 3. Use Ctrl + V to paste the screen shot to the paint. 4. From the File menu, click Print to print it. For the Home group instructions, you may refer to the following link: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/homegroupMCSE, MCSA, MCDST [If this post helps to resolve your issue, please click the "Mark as Answer" or "Helpful" button at the top of this message. Hi Paul, I woukd like to resolve this error too but in the meantime: I would suggest you open up and text editor notepad say. drag your cursor ofer the password to "highligt it. press control and "C" ie copy to clipboard. then click cursor in notpad page and press control + "V" ie paste. enter the description of the field i.e. homegroup password. Leave the notepad up go back to you nettwork settings and repeat. You will have a single doc with all your settings on. A screen copy will store thousands of bits as a picture and waste printing time & ink. you only need 10 chars for this page. I bet you know this any way... Any one know how to get windoys to print from setup????
