I went there. If you want to hybernate the computer manually that works. I'm trying to let it do it when I right-click on the desktop and go to properties to set the time when the screen saver comes on and when it will shut the monitor to power saver mode.

I removed some software that came with my external desktop hard drive and it now goes into the screen saver and then shuts the monitor off like it should! Be wary of any FREE software you have!
