Hpqdirec.exe
Downloaded new drivers and software for an HP Officejet 6310 All-in-one (64bit)from Hp after upgrading to Windows 7 (64bit). When I click on the Hp Solution Center Windows pops up with Do you want to allow a program from an unknown publisher to make changes to your computer. Details show Hpqdirec.exe. When I click yes I can use my HPOfficejet otherwise I can't. How do I stop Windows 7 from giving me this pop up everytime I want to open my HP Center?

Hi,You can right click the Hpqdirec.exe file and click Properties. In the file Properties, please switch to "Compatibility" tab and click "Change settings for all users" button. Verify whether the "Run this program as an administrator" option under "Privilege Level" is selected. If so, please clear the option and click OK.However, if the issue persists, you may need wait for the latest software for HP Officejet printer or temporarily turn off UAC.Thanks,Novak

You might also check the Properties General tab for a message like "This file came from another computer and might be blocked to help protect this computer" with an [Unblock] button next to it.Or, you mayenjoy calling this number 800-474-6836 to speak directlywith their most enthusiastic support personnel.
