How to write/Create System Repair Disk in Win 7 to usb and then burn it to a CD
Hi, I have a desktop which has a CD/DVD reader but not writer. I manage to do a system impage but having problem of not being able to create repair disk as I have no CD burner in thbis desktop. I have one external writer but it is not working anymore. The question is , is it possible to write the image to a file and then burn it to a cd on my another machine. Thanks

Hi I don't think this is possible. The interface for the creation component doesn't allow for any selection except writing to an optical disk. If you have a Windows 7 installation disk, you can use that to access the same repair options that are on the System Repair Disk. Hope this helps. Thank You for using Windows 7 Ronnie Vernon MVP
