How to view network connection tray icon as in XP?
In windows 7 the network connection icon on the tray (like local area connection and DSL) this icon is changed in windows 7, but the old one in XP is better because it shows the traffic status, so when there is traffic is sending or recieving which make the icon light on or off.is there a way to change the new one in windows 7 to the old one as in XP?thanks.

You can use Microsoft's desktop gadgets to get the same basic function, and with more detail, just not in the taskbar. There is one for wired and wireless .

This is not possible in Windows 7 RC, but it's possible that a third-party software developer could release a utility that does this in the future. -Nick
