How to view WiFi password, stored in the Microsoft cloud?
For a time I used Windows 8.1 on my laptop, i found my WiFi pass automatic synced. But as I installed Windows 10 Technical Preview, I found that my pass wasn't synced. Is there a way to extract it from the cloud somehow? The point is I have no access to my router now, and there is no other way. Thanks.

What password are you looking for?  The one for your MS ID, the one for the router, the one for the wifi network, the one for something else?

Please give us more details.

Did you update to win 10, or do a clean install?  Do you have a backup of win 8.1?  Have you tried rebooting the computer and router at the same time?

As I said, I am looking for WiFi network pass. I have successfully log in  into Microsoft account, also the point is i cant access my router at the time being. All sync options in settings are "on".

The wifi password is only stored on the router, and in the pc settings.  You could always reset the router to the factory password and then change it after that.

Your router maker can help you reset it and can tell you the default password.

Maybe I didn't explained it right. I cant physically access the router - I am in another city now. I haven't yet connected to this WiFi network for the same reason, but I know this password is somewhere in Microsoft account sync. The problem is that when I was using Windows 8.1, this pass automatic appeared as soon as I log on into Microsoft account, and after performing a clean install of Windows 10 it doesn't.

And of course you do not have a backup from 8.1.  It is not stored in the "cloud"  It is only stored in the settings on the OS and since you did a clean install if you do not have a backup from 8.1 its gone.

Sorry, but I have to disagree with you. When I installed a Windows 8.1 on a brand new PC, after logging on my Microsoft account trough the installation, Windows automatic downloaded and installed my Store apps, my customize settings (even my background picture ;) ), as well as my WiFi pass. So the question is: why Windows 10 didn't sync it that way and can I access those pass without reinstalling to Windows 8.1.

Hi altproject,

I agree with ZigZag. From the information of the sync settings, there is no option to indicates it would sync the password of WiFi. It only sync the passwords you saved in Windows apps, the ones you used to access other computers on your network and the HomeGroup and the passwords used to access websites in Internet Explorer.

Thus if you cannot get the router and you don't remember to the password of the wifi, you cannot access the wifi network. And If you are not in the proper distance, you cannot receive the Wifi signal.
