Softpedia claims to test software and give a nice 100% clean badge. I would like to do the same on other software. But how ? I believe they do something more than just running an anti-virus . Click on the Submit a URL tab and paste the link to the page that contains the download for the file. Click the submit button. Temporarily allow pop-ups. Virus Total will then analyze both the website hosting the file as well as the file with 43 different malware scanners. Note; If a new window/tab does not automatically open analyzing the file simply click on the "View file analysis" link next "Anti-virus report".
