How to use Wi-Fi direct in Windows 8?

It seems that Wi-Fi direct is a feature of Windows 8.

I can find the virtual Wi-Fi direct adapter through ipconfig /all, but I can't find how to enable or use it.

Who can tell me?

Thanks.

Hi,

You can get information from the following video.

Wi-Fi Direct is a new peer-to-peer device connectivity technology that enables high-bandwidth sharing of media and content between devices without requiring a separate Wi-Fi access point.

It is like bluetooth except much faster.

I haven't seen how this has been actually implemented and I don't know if Microsoft is using this technology presently but I've been using the Samsung ANDROID Wifi Direct for a long time already.
