How to use Remote Desktop with wireless connection?
Hello for everybody! Yesterday I've asked a similar question in another topic but there were no answers probably because of that topic is quite old. I will try to describe the problem more preciesly. I have 2 computers which are connected through Ad-Hoc wireless network connection. One computer runs on Vista, another one runs on Windows 7 RC. Every time when I'm logging to my machines I should manually start up wireless connection. When I'm triying to log on from Vista machine to Windows 7 using Remote Desktop connection it fails because of current session on Win7 is automatically ended (if I'm logging on remotely using the same user account which is currently logged on locally on Win7). The problem is that wireless connection is being disconnected automatically when session is ended (user is logged off).Is there any way to keep wireless connection opened even if user is logged off? Probably an alternative decision could be to allow session or desktop sharing for such situations, is it possible on Win 7?

As long as you have an Ad-Hoc wireless network set up it shouldn't be affected by RDP at all. Does anything show in event log?

WhenI startRemote Desktop connection it startsbut thenfailson a "Welcome"message(local Win7 session automatically ends). When I go back to Win7 machine it shows login screen with my user icon and status "logged on" butafter I type a password and log on, my wireless connection is disconnected.Event log there has a message: "The Terminal Server security layer detected an error in the protocol stream and has disconnected the client. Client IP ..."
