Hi, currently I tried to install a software which will involved DEP in windows 7. I turned DEP off in win xp by editing the boot.ini file to totally turn off the DEP. Can anyone tell me how to edit the boot file on win 7 to turn off DEP? Thanks!

You can use BCDEdit to completely disable DEP on a Windows 7 machine. bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff Reboot following that command.
