Thanks in advance,

I have a windows desktop app in which there is a splash screen , when i am running this app in

my windows tablet having windows 8.1 OS , its trying to Maximize the screen , Is there a way to

stop auto maximize or snap feature , i did the following but all in vain;

1.    Control Panel - Ease of Access Center.

2.    Go to Make the mouse easier to use and check the item Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen..

3.    Then go to Make the keyboard easier to use and unchecked the item Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen..

Hi Mirza,

To disable Snap Feature, the settings you configured would do the proper things. What about the other apps behaves after you select the check box?

And if that won't work with the app you mentioned, you may consider to seek help at the app manufacturer side and see if they could offer any further assistance.

Hi Michael ,

thanks for the post , Yes you are right it effects other functionality as well , I had seen some other posts/threads also and they reported it as bug in windows and is not resolved yet.

Anyhow thanks for the post i had changed the screen/Form design as we are the manufacturer of the  software but there must be an option to stop this auto maximize option which wont effect other functionality.

Thanks.
