How to switch off UAC for this app?
Hi,
The following Connection Manager Software (for a USB Wireless Modem Stick) "vividwirelessCM.zip" keeps on prompting
me for UAC following it's installation, everytime I run the app. Can anyone please download/take a look at this app and see if the UAC manifest instructions are causing the problem or too many "install", "setup", etc, file names used?
It can be downloaded for free from:
http://vividwireless.custhelp.com/app/downloads/list/c/214/header/troubleshooting
Any help/diagnosis/advice would be very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Jason.

Use the task scheduler to create a UAC whitelist and alwys run the application from the schtask.exe shortcut, not directly.
