Hi there My Vista PC keeps generating a duplicate .V2 User folder which is not a problem but it keeps annoyingly reverting back to earlier Explorer favourites lists and brings back files deleted at an earlier date. How do I stop it doing this? I'm a novice here so please help me on this. The only thing that I thought may cause this is Acronis true image which needs to log on to automatically back up? Hi Al, I suggest trying the following steps to test: 1. Temporarily disable Firewall and third party antivirus program on the computer for a test. 2. Boot the system to Safe Mode with networking and see if the issue persists. If not, please also boot to Clean Boot environment to determine the possible cause. 3. Reset the IE settings ----------------------- 1) In Internet Explorer, select the Tools menu and then click Internet Options. 2) Click the Advanced tab, Click Reset button. 3) Click Reset button while a prompt asks” Are you sure you want to reset all the Internet Explorer settings”. 4) Click Ok, restart your IE. 5) Please check the issue again.
