How to setup a domain with two Windows 7 Ultimate.
Hello. I have two PCs, both Windows 7 Ultimate 64bits. I need to see users from PC2 on PC1. I have a HOME group, but I can't see any user from PC2 on PC1. Is there any way to setup a domain or a NETWORK? I have installed Team Foundation Server 2010 on PC1 and I need to get access users from PC2 to it, but I don't know how. I have asked the same question, here and here. But nobody has answer them yet. Any advice?

To establish a domain, you need to have Domain Controllers running Active Directory. Seems a bit much if all you have is two computers. To set up a network, all you need to do is put them in the same workgroup or homegroup. Make sure both PCs have the same IP configuration, of course different IPs in the same subnet. Their subnet mask, default gateway and DNS settings should be identical. Visit: anITKB.com, an IT Knowledge Base.
