This is just an idea...Depending on what the unspecified task is supposed to do, you could configure your task to run under a different user name (and password). This is how I have my backup tasks set up. I know the automatic backup tasks work, but I would rather they not pop up on my screen while I am in the middle of doing some really important work, like watching videos or playing games. When the task runs, you will not see it pop up on your screen, but you will see it running in the Task Manager Process tab belonging to the other user. If the task creates some kind of resulting log file you could look at the log file later for the results. That would be okay if the task doesn't require any kind of input from the keyboard and if you don't really care to watch it when it runs. Do, or do not. There is no try.I need YOUR votes and points for helpful replies and Propose as Answers. I am saving up for a pony!
