Hello,

From Windows 8, we have found that windowsupdate.log gets flushed out once the log reaches a certain size limit.

For some of our tests (which we would like to automate) we would like NOT to flush this log during updates.

Can we do this using some configuration or settings?

Any help in this regard will be appreciated.

Hi,

Based on my research, you may not have the permission to modify the size of windowsupdate.log. Even in Registry Editor, there is no value about modifying it.

If you want to save all the windowsupdate.log, you can copy out the windowsupdate.log in schedule for backup.
