How to restrict RDP session to one global session only as in XP.
Good morning, We discovered by accident that Vista now allows multiple RDP sessions to stay in disconnected state. Situation that occurs when multiple users RDP to the same Vista computer requesting the "active session" from the other active user. We want to return to the XP RDP behavoir by which if user A is connected via the Console or an RDP session, User B connecting with Admin rights would logoff rather than disconnect User A. We are in a domain enviroment, and have disabled the Faster User switch via GPO but this does not affect the RDP "fast User Switch" behavoir Any suggesting would be appreciated. NaimNaim

Hi, Thank you for posting. Based on my research, I think you may check the Group Policy setting Restrict Terminal Services users to a single remote session under the following directory of the Group Policy Editor on your Windows Vista computer: Computer Configuration\Administrative Templates\Windows Components\Terminal Services\Terminal Server\Connections Please let me know if it works after enabling the setting. For the related settings, please also refer to the following documents: Connections http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc731606.aspx Changes to remote administration in Windows Server 2008 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947723/en-us Hope this helps.
