How to restrict Network to our domain
In the windows 7 explorer "Network" area, it shows after a while, all the machines in our domain.
OK, however it then goes on to show other machines in other trusted domains.
=> How can i restrict it to show only our domain machines ?
Thanks

Hi,
Base on my research, theres no such configuration to let Windows 7 machine network explorer to show special domain PCs. I suspect this should be set on the server.
You can go to server forum to verify this:

Hi greg,
i inclined to think this problem stems due to Domain groups...! if there are
two domains in your network each from Different forest..! and a Computer from one domain wants to acess resoure to another domain means either the computer will be added in Universal group ..so the other
computer is showing in the network...Remember omputers in the Universal group can access all resourcces in any domain...
thats why microsoft recommends to its adviced to create a Local groups first and then create a Global Group and
add a Special users(Managers,HR) who shud access which domain and access which resources so the fix should be made in Group policy...! if u desire to use Universal group in a huge network it will be noisy and cause issues like this And
its breach to security triad CIA !!
Sadly this changes can be made only in Server Machine ! i hope it helps
