How to remove virus from PowerShell? AVG says it's inaccessible.
. I have just checked the scan result of my AVG antivirus and found 13 copies of this message. " "Virus found Win32/Heur.dropper";"c:\Program Files (x86)\HP Games\Peggle\Peggle-WT.exe";"Object is inaccessible.";"23/06/2011, 16:31:47";"file";"C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe" " The messages show that the virus was downloaded 13 times in a period of 45 seconds. My first thought was to delete the HP Games program, which I don't need and don't use, but when I search for "Program Files (x86)" it comes up with PowerShell. Please can anybody tell me if deleting HP Games would work or if there is an alternative. You can probably tell from the way I have described this that I'm a self taught PC user well into my seventies so if any advice offered could be in the very simplest of language I would be very grateful! Very many thanks in advance, Richard

Hi, You can also search your requirement from Script Center. http://gallery.technet.microsoft.com/scriptcenter/site/search?query=remove%20virus&f%5B0%5D.Value=remove%20virus&f%5B0%5D.Type=SearchText&ac=8Niki Han TechNet Community Support

Thank you very much for the advice. I've checked both the links and I'm afraid I have to admit I don't understand much on the pages . Any really simple advice would be much appreciated. The operation of the computer does not seem to be effected by the virus so do I need to do anything?
